Four things I hold to, whatever I’m building.
First, I find out how it works.
Before I write any code, I make sure I understand the problem and how the pieces fit together. Every project leaves me knowing more than when I started.
It’s done when people can use it.
I take a website from an idea to something people can actually use. Clean code matters, but only if the people on the other side of the screen can use what it builds.
I stay with it after launch.
The interface, the code behind it, the data that connects them, and the site’s life once it’s live. I look after active sites, not only new ones.
Rooted at home, building for the world.
Sri Lanka is home. It’s where I learned to build, and the work goes wherever it’s needed.

Freelance Web Developer
I started on my own, building websites for clients from the first sketch to launch: the interface, the PHP and MySQL behind it, and the SEO and analytics after.
With no team to hand things to, the layout, the database and the search rankings were all mine to get right.
Web Developer → Senior Web Developer
I joined as a web developer and grew into a senior role, leading development on larger systems: an in-house CMS, custom PHP applications and the APIs that connect them.
Leading development within the team: setting the direction of the build, working through decisions together and mentoring other developers along the way.
Senior Executive — Web Development
Since November 2025, I look after live websites, plan new projects before they’re built, and work on the infrastructure underneath them.
Keeping active sites healthy day to day, from the code to the servers they run on.
A website is only finished when all of it works.
